Welcome to Phoenix Gold Rush Cure is here and we run the Arizona Chapter!

Welcome to Gold Rush Cure Arizona

Gold Rush Cure serves families and patients in Arizona through social workers at children’s hospitals in the area.  We are a small team of volunteers and passionate childhood cancer advocates who want to offer support through the Gold Rush Cure Pot of Gold program.

We are very proud to recognize some of our business partners in AZ; San Tan Auto Body in Queen Creek AZ where Jerry Smith and his team donate their paint and their time to paint our beautiful, sparkly Pots of Gold, The Sweet Tooth Fairy Gourmet Bake Shop in Gilbert, AZ where Lyndsay and her fabulous team sell special Golden Cupcakes and donate a portion of their proceeds back to Gold Rush Cure, and AZ Focus Realty where Partners Jodi and Reveille make donations  upon each closed escrow in their clients name to help fund our Pots of Gold program; Gamechangers and Donategames.org who have donated electronics and game systems to put in our Pots of Gold. Although small chapter, our AZ team has built a strong presence in the Metro Phoenix Area and is proud to be on the Volunteer team at Cardon Children’s Medical center where we deliver many Pots of Gold to children on the 7th floor Oncology Unit!

We've Launched Our Pot of Gold Program

At Cardon Children's Medical Center

The Arizona Chapter has launched our Pot of Gold program at Cardon Children’s Medical Center for the Oncology/Hematology Unit. We are excited to deliver these gifts to childhood cancer patients.

As soon as we hear about a child who has been newly diagnosed with cancer, we reach out to the child’s family and offer to create a Pot of Gold. The “Pots” are big 5 gallon glittery gold metal pots filled with gifts specific to each child’s wishes. These gifts are for children ranging from birth to 19; any donation can make a difference to the families we serve. We fill this Pot of Gold with $200 to around $400 worth of items related to the child’s interests and gifts for the family to make this time easier on them.
